DD Aaron Ward collides with DD Stack at 209 , 107

The cupboard is bare. If he knew almost all the units recovering in Sian are in Rest mode he could jump the river without a fuss and really complicate things.ORIGINAL: zuluhour
possible to slide another corp into that stack next to Sian, just to screw with his math? On the other hand I decided to take a slow
combat mode retreat from a similar situation hoping to buy some time in the woods.

Not much use to the carrier performing like this...
quote:
DD Aaron Ward collides with DD Stack at 209 , 107
The Glowworm smashed into the side of the German ship, just aft of her anchors. The destroyer’s bow was wrecked as she ripped a massive gash in the side of the much larger cruiser. The German ship took on tons of water, but eventually isolated the damage, and prevented a total flooding. The Glowworm drifted away, a sinking, burning inferno.
The Admiral Hipper fired another salvo, at close range into the destroyer, and a single gun responded. Chief Petty Officer Walter Scott, despite his ship sinking rapidly, stood by his gun and had fired one final round before the boilers exploded at 1024. She sank soon after.

Forgot to mention: a bunch of AK at Pearl Harbor have 11 days remaining in their upgrades so that's a hard lower limit on when I can start loading. The two battleships upgrading at San Francisco will be done in a few days and head for Hawaii along with the coming USMC Rgt and the additional AE's and AKE's. One battleship upgrading at Pearl Harbor needs close to 3 weeks and will be the straggler if external conditions allow the operation to commence ASAP.
Thanks! [8D]ORIGINAL: Macclan5

Good Luck and Good Hunting on Operation CO.
Your AAR is once again thoughtful and insightful at the same time.
You have yet to mention your mastrokova plan; we know you did the beginner course at VladPutinU 101 [8D]
If the biggest fear/threat is:
1) KB1 at Truk and
2) KB2 is likely down at Balikipan or DEI / Australia ~
..for arguments sake... are you launching an offensive in Burma? Responding in Australia clearly but assigning a 'misdirection' squadron of USAAF 5th in Australia to support ?
Hey John Mac! Did you learn your spelling at a certain University that recently closed up, or were you a student of Greyjoy's? [:D]ORIGINAL: Macclan5

I'm not quite caught up with your AAR, but I'm going to comment on the ship collision of May 25 between Bintang and Sophocles. There's a perfectly reasonable explanation for that:
