Can I buy a testing spot?

Post by sbond »

Just kidding.... well sort of depending on the price.

But actually I just wanted to thank the developers mainly Joel Billings for his answers to the community, is always great when the dev's come out to speak to us lowly gamers.:D

Is that enough brownnosing to get a testing spot?

For real though I have played Grigsby games since I do not remember, 1992 I think was my first and have always loved his sprawling huge games. No one does it like you guys and thanks for sticking with it!

Must be just a rumor, I have more posts then that JUST in the UV forum in the Chitty thread alone. :p

I'm still "blacklisted" from beating BoB by bombing the Power stations and making Gary have to write a patch :D

Can I buy a testing spot?

I don’t know about buying a testing spot. My workload would restrict me from offering any valuable input. But I sure would be interested in purchasing a beta copy of the game (at the SRP $).

I pre-purchased UV before release and love the game engine and the performance, however I find the theater of operations a little confining. There’s just not enough ocean space and ships for me in UV. I need things BIG and Difficult REAL BIG, REAL DIFFCULT (strategy wise not user wise).

I think with UV and WitP you guys have some real winners here.

I need a little distraction from time to time and WitP will provide just what I’ve been waiting for since I played my first war game. (That’s back in the old days of sticking pins in a map).

I always dreamt about a game of this magnitude, The game engine and overall design just seems to be the best
I‘ve ever played (UV) and I think WitP will take this to even a higher level.

To this end I’m such a supporter of Matrix that I’m willing to shell out the eighty bucks for a Beta version (warts and all) just so I can tinker with the game.

Believe me, you wouldn't want to shell out money for a beta copy. Keep in mind when it reaches beta it still has the majority of the bugs in it, it has just had all the new features added. Doesnt mean the new features work! Also you wouldnt have much for art, OOBs, AI, etc.
