Bridge Attack?

Post by jedao »

Hello,

I'm trying to get into this game (I briefly visited TOAW3 before). I tried following Klink's '41 Tutorial slides (not allowed to link the thread) but I stumbled early when he said to attack the bridge.

I can't find an option to do that, I see no "Bridge Attack". Can anyone help?

Select air unit. Put cursor over bridge. Right click and you will see an attack bridge option with a percentage. The percentages are cumulative with each air unit used to attack the bridge.

Right clicking on the red bridge icon does nothing with the Stuka selected.

I'm wondering if the "red" bridge icon represents a bridge already destroyed.
Maybe try destroying an intact bridge.

Huh. That would make sense. And I should have read the hover-over text more carefully, it is indeed already destroyed. Well, did not expect that but I'm happy that all makes sense. Thanks.

Hello, Oberst Klink.

Yes, I was trying the first one. But the bridge was already destroyed which confused me more than it should have. Also I didn't push the first enemy unit out of the city with the first try. But I guess battles don't always go the same, so I will just go on.

You got Panzer Pioniere... ;) I am sure I explained it in one of the slides. :D
