Roger: sad for the old Mac, happy for the new one! with that 5120 by 2880 can you see quarks when you zoom in? Or perhaps the Restaurant at the End of the Universe?
Got to say its very impressive, but maybe my eyes need an upgrade these days.... certainly one of them is listed for some action at some point. In the meantime every little helps.

I'm getting almost resigned in trying having wonderful tracker working;
new PC, Winows 10, new tracker install, but the properties file does not open; the system cannot find the right application to open it;

what to do?

In the File Explorer, right-click on the file and then in the menu that pops up, choose Open With... and select Notepad or Wordpad.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

From the File menu, choose "Export CSV". From the "Data to export" drop-down, choose Leaders. This will export the contents of the Leaders panel in a CSV file.

I did so. It turned out some kind of nonsense, it is impossible to use.

Look for an explanation on how to import a CSV into Excel. For example: https://www.hesa.ac.uk/support/user-guides/import-csv

Getting the "Can't load IA 32-bit .dll on a AMD 64-bit platform" error. Recently reinstalled all my C++ libraries so I think it's a problem with Java. How do I change the bat file so that it uses the 32 bit version?

I use Libre Office and it has no problem opening a CSV file.

Did the pilot actually transfer between the groups? The program just identifies things by the pilot and group IDs. Unless these change, it should all be correct. At least in theory...

Is there a breakdown of the regions files and what regions they cover without having to load everyone and look at all the bases?

when I click read turn, tracker does nothing... I have to restart several times for it to finally "catch" and read turn

it worked with no problems until recently, no settings were changed prior to that, but I don't recall whether java was updated or not

did anyone have such problem?

You use a text file reading program on the text file you import, which has all of the regions. You could also import it into Excel and sort/filter in different ways.

I know what they do.. I was wondering if there is a file somewhere that breaks down each of the regions that are included with the program in the folder.

I'm not sure what you mean. There's no "explanation" of why the regions are set the way that they are, if that's what you're asking.

In tracker there is a window Aircraft Comparison. It is much more like it for comparing planes.
Is it possible to do same for ships?

That was only an example. I bet if you tried, you can do a search specific to your version of Excel.

You're right. I found several ways how to do this. But could not. I am a kettle, I do not understand this well.

Just a question. Why is it impossible to copy data from leaders to Excel? How can this be done with ships?

Small coding error. I'll fix that in a future release.
