To those of you that have the game...

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

Yeah, I'm upset with them too. I went to a different EB store than I usually go to (was at that mall for something else and decided to stop by on Sunday). I asked them if they had it because the guy at mey regular store said it would be in Friday. Well, guess who was there? The guy from my regular store works at this other one on weekends. When he said it would not be in until Tuesday I said "But you told me it would be in on Friday". He got a guilty look on his face and started explaining how when it gets close to release date sometimes they have to push the date back blah blah blah... Boy was I ******!

Dont blame individual stores

I used to work at one and we have no control over what ship dates are...we just tell ppl what the HQ sends us
If you want...
Check www.ebgames.com before you go to the store again
It will tell you the day the game ships...if it says ships in 24 hours...you can assume your store has it

I dont know if its Eb's fault...or whoever matrix picked to do their shipping and what not
EB is one of the biggest game stores...so maybe they are priniting up more to make sure they have enough to send to all the stores

EB vs CompUSA

Post by JaguarUSF »

CompUSA in Clearwater, FL got them in Friday or Saturday, and as of yesterday the EBs had not, so I just went to CompUSA yesterday and picked it up after work.

Yes, I know they have no more information than what the guys up the line tell them. But if I harass them maybe they will tell the guys up the line to get their act together and don't say it is going to be out on Friday when it won't even be there by Tuesday, because they are tired of being bothered by customers and phne calls asking about it. Just my way of getting back at them for jerking me around.;) :D

Well, if it helps, they probably don't have a PC with minimum specs to run it... ;)
