I would like to add an URL to John McCrae's classic WW1 poem "In Flanders Fields". There is a very short article, just a few paragraphs and a text of the poem at the following address:

The poem itself is short and some will find it anti-war. The London Times refused to print the poem during the hostilities.

Those who fell in service of their country deserve a day of rememberance; may we never forget them.
