Game running slowly

It is M/J 1941; Germany has declared War upon the USSR
Moving units into the USSR is taking 30-45 seconds for each unit.
Undo is taking equally long. Choosing and HQ unit takes 60-75 seconds and moving it into an hex in USSR controlled territory an additional 90 seconds.
Prior to the current turn, there was only a slight delay, 5 seconds or less, in executing movement from one hex to another. Although there was always a delay in choosing an HQ unit, ten seconds or so.
Any ideas as to why the game has suddenly slowed down so much.

Sounds like it is related to supply verification. With a large number of units moving into new territory, that can happen - especially when moving HQs.

Can you post a gamesave in here? Zip the file and upload it if you can. The programmer can check what is taking so long if you do...

Yes I have seen the game slow down significantly the later half of 1944 and into 1945, but never this early in the game.

I first started seeing this type of slowdown with 2.8.9.4 and reported it with game file attached.

Happened to me too. I was showing the game to a fellow wiffer and it was embarrassing. [8|][:(]

Hate to play devil's avocate, but are you sure you have no virus or malware infection? 2.9.4 runs fine on my machine (N/D '42) [:(].

I use the same program, it showed no virus.
