How to create a supply point?

Post by track12345678 »

I'm new and I wanted to try out the scenario editor, so I decided to create a small 20x20 desert battle. Yet for whatever reason the units that I place end up under-supplied and end up disbanding within a few turns. I've read through most of the scenario manual and I have yet to see a page mentioning supply and how it functions. If someone would kindly explain to me how to create supply points, then I would be most grateful.

Supply Points can be placed via the Deployment Editor (17.11.3 and specifically 17.11.14) or via the Event Editor (17.9.4).

I made a small Editor Tutorial - Tutorial '42 - Editor: tm.asp?m=4401098
Feel free to play around with the scenario file.

The replies do not mention it, but supply point ownership can be programed by the scenario author as a) side 1 only, b) side 2 only or c) side 1 or 2 depending on ownership of the supply point hex.

Initial ownership of the supply point is programed by the scenario author.

Does that have to be done through an Event, or is there any easier way to do it?
