Graphics glitch

Greetings.

RL prevented me from enjoying WitP:AE for several years but once installed, what a game. Kudos to all involved!

Game was running fine until last night when I carelessly allowed TuneUp to optimize my PC. End result; whenever I click on a base/unit the frame is invisible while I still see the text hovering over the empty shell.

Using full screen 1024/768 -dd_sw -altFont.

Would have included a SS were I able to produce one..

Aside from irked I am baffled as I cannot find any reason for the game to behave as such.

Could be the graphic card and/or Direct X that needed to be replace or update. Did you remove any games? If so some games remove tools such as Direct X too.

Keep trying tho, you could reinstall the game and if that doesn't work, try uninstall it and make sure the folder are deleted. Before doing so, make a backup of your savegame. Then reinstall it again.

Gonna be tricky. Have you tried other games and see if that glitches still around?

A clean uninstall-reinstall fixed it. Thanks for the input RS
