2.9.1.4 Error when returning from ground strike

I got a system error when German plane returns from ground strike against Oslo, on DOW impulse. Tried it several times and same happens, but oddly other ground strikes before in Poland and France did not produced this error.

I can't reproduce this bug. That probably means that this bug has been fixed, since I'm using a higher beta test version at the moment.

I could bomb with success in Oslo, return and pass to next phase without incidents.

Not sure what is going on. I re-booted the computer, and yet the problem persists.

I decided to skip the Ground Attack phase, but then as soon as I arrived at the Railroad Movement phase, I got again a system error. Here is the bug report.

Has MWiF crashed or have you had to kill it through task manager? If so, then it's possible you have a "zombie" copy of the MWiF executable running along with the one you're using to play your turn. This happened to me once and it caused all kinds of game crashes that nobody else could repeat. It wasn't until I checked task manger and saw this "zombie" copy running did I figure it out. If you're familiar with using task manager you can see it that's your issue, and if it is kill the application. You can do that either within task manger or by doing a re-boot. If you're not familiar with task manager you could try a re-boot and see if that helps.

I checked and there was a zombie application running. I stopped it, re-booted, checked the Task Manager again and there was no zombie MWIF.exe running, but I still got the error afterward. I guess some saved databases have been corrupted.

There was a original problem that first caused a system error when I did an allied strategic bombing in the previous turn. In the process, I changed my mind about the target, and this had for implication on whether it was an extended range mission. Then, on return from mission the system believed somehow that it was the original non-extended mission, so I had to destroy the bomber which was deemed out of return range by the system. I went along with it, but this might have corrupted the database.

I used the same savegame with 2.9.1.4 and had no issues ground striking Oslo and Egypt...
