site version works, steam one doesn't atm

the box appears under the main loading screen so you have to find it first to click on it, but clicking on ok doesn't load the game, or give any other error messages either.

in game debug log in the game folder says this,

verifying steam files for the game gives no errors either, all other steam games work fine, clean install of windows

seems maybe the game wishes or wants to update while running maybe? as if you leave it trying to load long enough, which it never does btw, you get this one

Heya Zak.

Try to right click the game in the Steam library > Properties > Set Launch Options.

I can't see anywhere else the -steam argument could be loaded from. Maybe the launcher, then we're SOL, and it needs to be fixed.

I'll check with my own version.

it's blank, on the steam launch options so must be done in a file in game on auto

box above says make a game shortcut on the desktop so trying this next and seeing if that works any better, as so far not even running the game directly will start it, and like i said, the standalone game works fine[;)]

only the steam one for me doesn't work

site works as shown, wasn't loaded on this new test pc either, but loaded it now to make sure it's not a hardware or software issue and jumped right into my fav battle

support asked me to change my download location so as to re start steam which i do every day anyway, clear cache and download history folder etc, it downloaded a 0 byte file and now works, so again i've learnt something new[:D]
