Battle prediction is completely bonkers

Post by Edgewalker »

It always bothered me...

When I'm attacking enemy with strength ratio like 1000:1, from all sides, nuking em with arty, planes, helicopters, laser beams, godzilla and what not, the battle planner usually says something like "your chances are very poor, your losses will be horrible, you are so pitiful, don't even try" and then it turns out enemy evaporates in one round with zero losses on my side. Why the battle result prediction is so weird ?

The answer is simple. The planner is a liar. Probably a politician or a lawyer. I ignore it and go with what my internal computational device (brain thing) tells me. But a Godzilla unit would be cool. And you could have a Rodan air unit.

I think maybe the game designers don't want you to have a 100% accurate prediction in an attempt to model the fact that in the real world you don't necessarily have that accuracy.

If duct tape doesn't fix it then you are not using enough duct tape.

Same goes with the air unit report
xxx enemy aircraft lost vs xxx friendly aircraft lost... It'll show that the enemey lost far more than is actually the case... Pure propaganda
