Is a Panzer IVD tank a good one to build for attacking France?

Well, it is not a great panzer. It is not strong versus enemy armor, but can work against soft targets.

The first panzer with decent anti-armor specs is actually the Pz IIID. Build some Pz IVD by all means, but try some other mixes too.

The French B1-bis will defeat most early war panzers, but the French may not have many.

Chuck

PS : the day you get Pz IVG will be a happy day for the Heer.

Not great in my opinion. You're better with something else.

I love my PSW 234 /2... they have high anti-tank, are cheap, and good on fuel. I agree with Cp on the rest... but def. add these armoured cars. They will last you 3 years, of course at the end they will be recon and not part of the spearhead. Build Heavy Flak and stick them with armor and infantry... good on offense and great on defense and will last as via weapon through the whole war. Just my 2 cents... PZIV D, as comodi said, is meh and short lived. PZ3 D and PZ IV D can be replaced by heavy flak and 234 and PZ II works well enough... PZIII E is where you see a good enough tank to build and IIIg is excellent.
