AV Software recommendation

Post by rjantzi »

I'm thinking about upgrading from "free" AV software (AVG, Avast, etc.) to a full, paid, version. A quick web search shows Bitdefender as being consistently highly rated and reasonably priced. Does anyone have experience (positive or negative) with this product?

AVG, Avast & Bitdefender are all poor gaming AV's, either offering false positives more often than not, or slowing down the pc or stopping games from running.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you have any suggestions of good gaming AV's?

NOD32 AV:

Small footprint and I don't recall having any false positives in the last 8 years.

yes also use the default one on windows 10, again it's well integrated, low resources and next to know false positives etc and works well, as long as you don't do anything out of the ordinary and are carefully, as good as any of the paid ones, but yes do also like Nod32
