10) F-35 OECM.
Not really IAF related, but the AESA radars are supposed to offer some nice jamming capability. Something like the situation shown on the picture below is not possible with the current CMANO logic where the radars can't be used as jammers while that opens a lot more tactical possibilities.
Currently the international F-35 entries aren't quite the same as the US F-35 entries, presumably due to the backlog of database change requests; in the mean time, if you use USAF / USMC / USN F-35s you'll be able to use OECM jamming from the APG-81, although it seems a bit less powerful than has been demonstrated in exercises.

The issue of DB3K.
PS-1 (JMSDF) has HQS-101 dipping sonar
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shin_Meiwa_US-1A
And this aircraft can't land on sea in this game. So cannot use the dipping sonar anyway. To use Dipping sonarn the air craft has to hover. Can you do anything about this?

Requesting the SM-2 Block IIIC be added to the database. It replaces the legacy SARH seeker with the active seeker from the SM-6. LRIP began in 2017 so 2020 would be appropriate for the beginning service date.

Request the ‘beast-mode’ for J-15, max out the weapon loadout to 5 tons:

https://www.twitter.com/jpg2t785/status ... 1794129920 (Japanese. English translation below)

Image
ASM x6, PL-12 x2, PL-8(9) x4. From the J-15 model, presuming to be the full-load condition.

One YJ-82 (C-802) weights 770kg, PL-12 is 180kg and PL-8(9) is 115kg. So the total loadout weight is 4380+360+230=4970kg.

The max loadout weight for Su-33 as a reference is 6.5 tons (with only 5t of internal fuel limit). It may require an aerial/buddy refuelling once it’s take off.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT Q: Database Issues

Post by gpotter511 »

All - I just updated the database on a scenario that I've been working on for months and got an error message I've never received before, which is attached.

A little trial-and-error has made clear that the issue is that certain units - e.g., RKR Moskva - have had their unit ID change.

Is there any way of addressing this without manually replacing each and every unit affected by this error? Am I doing something wrong that's creating a more laborious situation?

Appreciate any input. Thanks!

Import of "2016 Japanese ministery of defence supply)
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing (This is big sheet, I'll put picture Below)

At No.849 There is HQS-13G-1 DIFAR (there is name of 「ダイファー」means DIFAR. the HQS-12 DIFAR was copy of SSQ-53, HQS-13G is copy of SSQ-53F or something)
At No.852 There is HQS-33D DICASS (Easy, HQS-33B was AN/SSQ-62, so one of variant of them)
can confirm.

And here is sheet of 2011 for P-X(=now days P-1) at 4th page there are also same sonobuyoi.
http://www.mod.go.jp/j/approach/others/ ... t/0265.pdf

Other HQS numbers are for thermo (sea temperature?) research sonobuoy so DO NOT involve to direct combat.
This is for aircrafts sonobuoy. and This is the only buoy can confirm in 2011 so all other sonobuoies should replaced by this two.(I mean HQS-12 and HQS-33B)

HQS-33C DIFAR confirmed at this sheet
http://www.mod.go.jp/j/procurement/pdf/ ... ki_h19.pdf
this is the data of 2007(平成19年)so HQS-33C replaced by HQS-33D during 2007-2011.

HQS-43 high-performance(=Advanced) DIFAR
Number 51, platform unkown. procurement starts 2016.

This is the data of Oki, you also can check the HQS-13 G-1 from this page. (It said "HQS-43 高機能ダイファー"=HQS-43 high-performance DIFAR)

OP-3C
Imagery intelligence(IMINT) variant
remove all ASW function (sonobuoy and MAD) and add LOROP and SLAR for P-3C
http://rightwing.sakura.ne.jp/equipment ... /op-3.html (Sorry there were only Japanese reference/ you can check LOROP picture here)

SLAR name confirmed as HPQ-101C(2014-/ was HPQ-101B till then)

P-1
For a Max-ASuW loadout P-1 can bring 8 or 10 AGM-84D/ASM-1C/AGM-65F.
P-1 has weapon bay similar as P-3C so it can carry 8 torpedoes.

https://www.jiji.com/jc/article?k=2018052400938&g=soc (Japanese)

According to Japanese wikipedia, From SS508 Sekiryu, they add Torpedo Counter Measures :TCM. and this is the system they launched by mistake.
http://www.mod.go.jp/e/d_budget/pdf/240301.pdf (P5, EN reference)
The size of decoy is 15cm and the torpedo tube Soryu class has is 533mm so they should have the tube launcher for the system.
http://www.mod.go.jp/j/approach/hyouka/ ... kou/01.pdf (The NAE,Noise Augmentation Emitter works as ADC. And MOD,mobile decoy moves like a torpedo, kind of MOSS.)

F-15J has J/ASW-10 link system
https://www.modelbouwkrikke.nl/contents ... eagle.html (a toy shopping site but has info in English)
http://tealgroup.com/images/TGCTOC/sample-wmcab2.pdf (English Info)
According to these two information, J/ASW-10 is receinving only, and from E-2C.
https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-15J_(%E ... 5%E6%A7%98 (Japanese wiki, You can tarnslate)

F-2 has J/ASW-20 datalink system (No detailed information)
https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-2_(%E8% ... 5%E6%A7%98 (Jaoanese info, bit down there)

F-15J J-MSIP has a link-16 system.
http://www.mod.go.jp/e/publ/w_paper/pdf ... 2_Sec4.pdf (5th Page of the pdf)

http://www.mod.go.jp/e/d_budget/pdf/270414.pdf (9th page of PDF. The picture showing F-15J and E-767 has connected with Link 16)

And you also can see the F-2 has the JDCS(F) (Japan self defense force Digital CommunicationSystem (for fighters))
This is the Link system between all JSDF forces which can't mount Link16 system.
Transmission of the information is limited than Link16 but it is smaller so F-2A/B equip this for link with F-15J and E-767. (F-15J and E-767 also has JDCS system)

In addition, Japan now has F-15MJ(modernized J = J-MSIP) and F-15SJ (standard J = Pre-MSHIP)
F-15SJ has no MSIP changing because it too old design to do it, but still, it has JDCS(F) for datalink.
https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-15J_(%E ... 9%E4%BF%AE (Sorry only a Japanese info)

AAM-4B'S JARG-1's recever has two channel. That's because AAM-4's Datalink can hands off to wingman Fighter to the F-15J or F-2 can going defensitive.

Just spotted a glaring oversight:

Generic passenger loadouts for all USAF, USMC, US Army and US Navy cargo capable aircraft. The idea is that these aircraft could be used to support non-combatant evacuation (NEO) missions and the victory conditions would be trapped by noting changes in the inventory of passengers at the origin and destination bases.
