Hopefully, there will be more enhancements or new features to TotH in the near future.[&:]

Big Future?

Hope your right!

While your waiting try Squad Battles Red Victory or John Tiller's Campaign Series or Campaign Series Middle East!

All are great games! [8D]

Thanks Big Ivan, I'll have a look.

This game ticks most of the boxes for me, and I've played a few in my time ! lol

You're talking World War Two Frontline Command to Steel Panthers World War Two. [:D]

Yes Firebri,

This game too ticks a lot of the boxes for me. Just a fun game to play and when I introduced the mod to make it look like ASL it just brings back the vivid memories
that much more!!

For future titles in TotH I would love to see a North African or Pacific rendition for sure. But for now we pretty much have Europe in the hand and that's wonderful! The possibilities
are endless just with that.

I never got into Frontline or Steel Panthers that much, instead I concentrated on John Tillers Campaign Series and most recently Campaign Series Middle East. When I turn on
my computer those are my first go to games. When I had my fill of CS I bounce over to Tigers on the Hunt next.

Lately been messing around with Squad Battles Red Victory. Not a bad game by any stretch! A couple of buds of mine are trying to get me interested in Tiller's Modern Campaigns
Danube and Fulda Gap. They say they are pretty cool with the modern weapons! I have Tiller's Mius'43 gold demo and Korsun '44 which are good operational games. But they can be
kind of long in play time.

So many great games like Tigers on the Hunt and so little time to play![:D]

If ToTH was a car, a new paint coat would not solve the severe engine issue.

UP844, you are right, of course, but I've learned to "deal with it" such that the occasional discrepancy has become just an eye-roll and then I keep playing much
like everybody else I assume. I hope there will be new map features and more ASL capabilities incorporated into TotH despite the game engine. A new "paint coat"

is fine with me. Sometimes it's better to "Look Good" than to be just good.[:D]

Couldn't of said it better Hailstone!

But UP has a point. There is only one mechanic working on the car unlike 4-5 mechanics working on the car called Campaign Series or The Operational Art of War.

With that having been said I do appreciate Peter's position and support it. It is his game and his code ultimately and up until now as a solo provider he has done a magnificent job!!

Sure there are some glitches here and there but no real show stoppers. Bottom line the game is playable but albeit not to everyone's liking. Everyone is titled to an opinion.

Sure there is the speed issue which we all have voiced our opinion about. Plus the A/I does some weird stuff to us "armchair" generals now and then which we can't fathom.
But take a look where we've been circa February 2016 "the inception" and where we are today. The speed has greatly improved, there are hundreds of scenarios,
there is solid improvements to the game like putting labels on the map with mods galore , accuracy of OBA has improved, DLC in Kursk and Normandy
and A/I fire combat has improved. What some say cost!? With a the price tag of $100 American dollars or so?!

Hell, I drink more than that in beer a month, thank you Budweiser!

Peter said, as long as there is one customer he will keep addressing issues to make the game better. Well its pretty solid now! Just all of us think for a moment.
Something close to ASL on the computer!?

That was a dream in 1982 or for that matter 1990, today its reality in TotH.

Cheers TotH Family!

Stay the course, TotH will get better, I feel it!

It reminds me of my friends when he talks to me about their car.[8D]
The engine has such power, the on-board computer can do that, the leather interior is of such color ...[:(]
I interrupt them after a while to ask them how many wheels have their car, they always answer me ... four![&:]
I always answer them "Mine too!"[:D]

For Big Ivan,

I've had a look at the John Tiller, Squad Battle titles. I now have the Grenada Squad Battle demo on my machine.

It's great having Gunny Highway as one of your team. The smoke grenades are cool too. [:D]

Hi Firebri,

Gunny Thomas Highway is a must! He'll get those grunts moving!

See if you can do better with Grenada than I did. As I remember I didn't do to well with it. Not doing to well
with Red Victory boot camp 1 either. As the Russians I'm trying to assault a hill with bunkers. Needless to say I'm getting
shot up pretty bad.

Hey that reminds me, might be a good custom scenario for Tigers on the Hunt. Stone buildings on top of a hill
could signify bunkers with sparse vegetation. Hmmm I might have to look into that...

Cheers!

In the late '70s a friend of mine drove his mechanic mad to identify the perfect shade of red used by Ferrari and had its Morris Mini painted "Ferrari Red".

The new paintwork did nothing to enhance the car acceleration or handling [:D].
