2.9.1.4. Another Port Strike Bug.

1. RAF surprise port strike on Kiel.
2. Roll=6, which gives the Brits 7 SP's.
3. They use 2 SP's to reduce German AA from Lowest 1 of 6 to no effect.
4. However, Germany still gets their AA.

AA problem also happens with Naval Combat.

Made me crazy how could it be possible roll a 6 for a surprise port strike and get 7 surprise points. Considering that the bomber comes from land (3) and is attacking a major port (5).

Then I realized because of the screenshot the roll was a 9 which fit now. 9+3-5=7

No it was a Surprise Impulse port strike, so Germany had zero SP. Roll was 6 plus 3 for LBA = 9, but in the screen shot, the 2 SPs to shift the AA were already spent ("Points Spent:" list at bottom left of first screen shot), leaving 7 more to spend as per the screen shot. ("Points Remaining: 7")

HOly sh*t! I learnt this wrong 20 years ago and I always make it wrong. I have been corrected a couple of times along these years but for next game start, many months later and many times in a side not CW which is the one you can enjoy the best port attacks (except for Italy as well if you are ready...) I never remember anymore. And what is worse, my opponents never warn me I got more surprise that I believe!!! O well...
