Game not Saving

I'm getting a message in the message box stating that that the game was not able to autosave. Additionally, when I attempt to do a manual save, the game does not save.

seems like a permissions issue?

did you install the game as admin? eg install as admin with a right click, run as admin on running the game?

from a full administrator account?

and any log or error files as per tech support post?

I agree with zakblood, it sounds a permission issue.

Try the following:
Open the game installation folder.
Locate and select a file named "autorun.exe".
Press the right mouse button and select "Properties".
Click on the "Compatibility" tab.
Tick the option "Run this program as an administrator".
Click on "Apply" and "Ok".

The issue is that the game saves into it's own program directory, instead of creating a directory in user data (e.g. Users/%USERNAME%/AppData or Users/%USERNAME%/Documents/My Games) like most games do. As a result you either need to enable write permissions to the program directory, or run as administrator.

if installed and run as admin, eg right click install as admin and right click run as admin, it wouldn't be an issue, as installing as admin sets up the correct permissions to work and how all games should be correctly installed and run / played
