Trying to Figure Out the Name of Old Games

Post by Cheimison »

I am trying to remember the name of some old games I played, they must have been from the 90s or earlier.

One had a name like 'Battles of the Ancient World' or something, but there are so many hundreds of titles almost identical to that all I find are the wrong ones. It had very simple graphics, it was turn based and I think hex (but maybe square). It recreated ancient battles from Egypt on.

Another one was an isometric hex game about the campaigns of Alexander the Great. It looked similar to Centurion, and was actually pretty difficult.

Try looking at the Great Battles Collection at GoG site. Not sure if I can post a competitors web site here.
