Please bear in mind that graphics are one of the last things we do to a game. You may see things in the following screenshots that just look plain wrong. like big red buttons etc. These are just place holders. As we progress through the developement the graphics will be added.

Thank you Ross! This is what we wished.
The map looks very promising. I will not comment
on the details yet,l because it just a B screen shot;)

Can we make this kind of small sneak peaks a regular thing
in the forum? we none B-tester would like that very much. :D

We still like to see things like

1) Which campaings can you play?
2) Which new options are added? Both Classical game and "extened"
3) How can you make diplomacy with a computer player?

Nice screenshots. Thanks.

MANY thanks, indeed.

Is the earlier statement that we will be able to mod the map and units still true?

If someone does not like the images, Im sure they can just replace the ones given with new ones by going to the proper directory. You could technicaly use your own map files too, unless matrix games decides to lock this out for security reasons.
Nelson stood on deck and observed as the last of the Spanish fleets sank below the waves…

I agree, I also would like to very much use the corp markers, fleet markers, depots markers, leader markers, and pretty much everything else that the original game had. They look much better I think. It would be cool if we could do this.

Thanks for the screenshots Ross, I like the way the map looks.

I love the icons. They look great, as well as the map. Question, what the heck is Nelson doing on land? Is he in the London port on a fleet?
