2.9.4 Carriers can't fly at night

USA is trying to intercept a German air transport from Denmark to Norway (the 6-3 SS) with its carriers in the North Sea. However, the air transport is at night and the carriers (no PIF) don't have an option to fly at night!

One more thing I should add: French Polynesia, which went Vichy, has had all ports (that I can find) captured by the US many turns ago. However, it doesn't seem to switch sides. Am I missing a port in the administration group or is there a French Polynesia bug as well?
