please evaluate laptop spec's

Post by kbrown1950 »

I'm definitely interested in this game but I'd like to find out before purchasing it whether my older laptop is adequate with it's onboard graphics. HP doesn't have any driver upgrades available beyond what I have applied back in 2015. I have attached a DxDiag.txt file.

Thanks

I was able to run and design content for Combat Mission OK on a similar rig (Dell) so I think you should be OK. Have you tried the most recent free version of AB? May be worth a d/l to check it out.

Thank you, Kevin, excellent suggestion.

Zakblood, thank you for finding those 2 updates, I was relying on Windows Update and an HP utility to find updated drivers for me, I didn't think to look at the actual vendor websites. One further question, you put the dedicated memory in bold, does this mean that will be a problem or just something to be aware of? Thanks again.
