Easiest and hardest front

VR designs has been reinforced with designer Cameron Harris and the result is a revolutionary new operational war game 'Barbarossa' that plays like none other. It blends an advanced counter pushing engine with deep narrative, people management and in-depth semi-randomized decision systems.

Easiest and hardest front

Post by Edgewalker »

As a Soviet player I find southern front and Rostov hardest to defend. Even with one turn delay it's difficult to withdraw with low casualties, river lines are long and reinforcements come late. Lots of open ground, not many forests.

Leningrad is somewhere in the middle since it's a bit random, unless you can hold two cities and not even give Finland a chance to join war. To do that you need some help with reinforcements, fortifications, garrisons and so. Terrain is good though with natural chokepoints and narrow corridors.

Easiest is Moscow with abundance of reinforcements and favourable terrain close to the capital. Just spam armies dig in and let them come.

What is your ranking hardest-easiest ?
I also would like to hear from German commanders about their experiences :-)

Well, I seriously thought about buying, even transfered money to my steam account but I was afraid that it is all substance no flash, kinda like Case Blue.
