They are up to 32% damage on the Lagg-3 factory – when they get to about 75%, we’ll evacuate it and let them find another target.

Why 75% - do you mean 50% to 53%?
I was actually hoping that our fighters would begin to pin some serious losses on your unescorted bombers but when you got within potential fighter escort range, we moved the factory out.

Axis have shifted to bombing Stalingrad now (tns 12-16) with their unescorted bombers. Our fighters have been a little more effective.

Surely though if it had got to 50%, there would be no point not evacuating it then as it would then have a production of zero and repair in the same way and to the same size as if it were evacuated? Why wait for it to then go to 75% is the bit I do not get?

Hey guys, sorry I couldnt write anything for turn 10, I had lots prepared in my computer, so I will just throw the scribbles I had, and some pictures.

Turn 9 Reflections:
"Peno Offensive
14 August 1941, second week of operation.

3rd panzer group is making progress towards Peno. Original objective of Nelidovo scrapped.
Hopeful outcome to encircle troops in cooperation with North's 16th Army. Steady push along
the whole front as to detect enemy weaknesses.

Gomel was captured and 18th Pz. Div crossed the river. Possible push next turn.

Peno offensive will probably have to be cancelled as enemy seems to be retreating en masse.
Possible next objective is Rzhev ( for moscow), or Torzhok ( for cooperative encirclement
with 16th Army)"

Turn 10 Central Front:

"Orders has been given to capture Rhzev but ultimately, it was decided solely by Central Front Commander
to ignore the orders. The idea to pocket troops in cooperation with North Front Commander was too big.
If the pocket failed, the objective would shift to Torzhok.

The soviets most likely think Im going for Rzhev, my own commander thinks Im going for Rhzev. I expect the element
of surprise and confusion will play in my favor to later take Moscow from a Nortern approach. The idea is to encircle
Moscow after all, and not assault it. Going by the Moskva-Volga Canal will ensure a easy approach to surround the city.

The continued advance towards Torzhok is doing well. Approximately 6,000 Soviet soldiers were killed.
The 3rd Pz. Gr. is advancing unhindered, but at a slow pace. Papa Hoth is extremely close to the frontline,
in fact, he his part of the frontline. A dangerous position for his HQ, yet, he his not afraid. War, is war.
This is where boy becomes men, and where men show their worth.

Plans were just being made about moving 2nd Pz.Gr at Smolensk and race for Berlin. Pression would be put in the North and West of Moscow."

Probably don't want to be telling Uncle Adolf that you were ignoring his orders.

I am coming to the view that in team games we should agree up front on colour schemes for the sake of everybody on the team!

I generally stick with the game-assigned colors. Some of my team mates in a couple of games have changed units to indicate certain qualities (almost Guards, need refit, etc.), and you can never get the proper color back again.

BTW, thanks, Neo, for your thoughts in your AAR. I'm hoping that we can get both sides' plans and impressions into the AAR for the benefit of readers. Hoping that this could be a sort of beginners' introduction to the game.

Are the original RGB colour codes not written down somewhere?

You can reference the color scheme off the web pretty much anywhere if you want to get the color scheme back. There is a post that Red Lancer did I believe that had a link too if you wanted to search this forum for it.

Try to choose "set colour" in the unit window then press enter 3 times. Works for me.

That will set the color to white. What the issue is is it sounds like they want to possibly set the color to what is default at the start of the campaign for that specific Corps.

Because of the digging in in the area surrounding Pskov there has been little action this turn. Our aim was and is to move eastwards towards Moscow.

Around Rzhev not much progress was made and forces are in danger of being pocketed. Some progress towards Vyazma
