OVERLORD 44

Post by buchand »

After turn 1 any attempt at landing seems to cause exorbitant losses with units evaporating because of artillery fire.
Even transporting is risky as coastal artillery destroys embarked units en-route. Didn't happen in TOAW3 ?
Can I counter this or how far inland do I need to clear artillery to allow landings? [&:]
If it was losses it would seem reasoanble but evaporation of all units attacked?
Plan? What plan? Attack!!

Thanks, a work around but allows me to get on with the scenario.
Am I right that this wasn't a problem in TOAW 3?
