Why Aren't My Fighters Intercepting?

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Why Aren't My Fighters Intercepting?

Post by MarkWayneClark »

Playing 1.15 against the AI. Have two fighter squadrons in Northern France, one just outside Paris, the other next to Brussels. Both fighters are set to "Intercept." I also have two AA units, one on Mons, the other on Loos. And there is an HQ in Paris to which all these units are attached.

But when the UK Strat bomber comes to bomb Loos or Mons (every turn), the fighters NEVER intercept it. Anyone know why not?

Thanks!

there is only AA or a fighter intercept. Never both

If the AA is upgraded to at least one, better to two then the AA is better because it will never suffer any damage. A fighter will because there can be an escort... so sometimes the escorting fighter can cause some damage and then the bomber too. Can be very expensive. If you want to use your fighters relocate the AA units to another position.
