Problems with Russia

Post by Numdydar »

No not historical problems Germany had lol.

In several games now I have had Russia declare war on Germany in the Fall of '41, Spring of '40, etc.

I know that the game is designed so that there is no fixed schedule to war with Russia. But in every case Russia was not ready militarily to do this. In every case they eventually got slaughtered. As an example I took Stalingrad in late '41. It was totally empty.

So there should be a combination of events that would allow the Russians to go to war while at the same time have enough might to survive. Or at least have a decent chance to [:)]

One way to help would be not to have any adjustment to the War Score for Russia for invading the UK. I may be wrong but I do not think Stalin would have cared if that had happened in RL. As he knew he would not be ready for a conflict until 42/43. He also would not have cared about Lithuania being occupied as the treaty with the Russians allowed Germany to occupy it if they wanted.
