japanese air clears through even when they abort a2a

Hi,

Pls try this to be sure I'm not crazy but it appears that JP bombers are clearing through despite JP aborting a2a. If you load this file and choose no search other than Coral Sea.
Init there for JP.
React all US air that can reach 3 box (3 NAV, 1 FTR).
Roll 3's for both sides.
Not sure any of this matters but allocate planes as shown in screenshot attached.
First round of a2a allies roll 15, JP 18. both kills taken against front bomber.
2nd round of a2a allies roll 9, JP rolls 15, US abort taken against cvp bomber.
Then JP aborts a2a and US stays in a2a.

Even though no JP bombers have cleared MWIF will now ask for US AA rolls. Then JP bombers (all of them) will attack US ships even though none cleared. We've tried this many times but same result happens.
We've tried it with 2894, 271, and latest beta - happens with all of them.

I have this also, in the attached file, a naval air in the Coral Sea will have the Japanese aborts get through, and the american aborts will not. I have also had UK CVPs get through after being aborted. It seems to be the phasing player who is immune to aborts.
