moving units

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

moving units

i love War in the East. Just got War in the West. But i may be the dumbest player in history, but i cannot figure out how you move units in War in the West. How do you move them and initiate combat. War in the East, it was just a click of the mouse. Not working for me.

First you have to execute the air phase, then you can move units during the land phase.

As above.

Basically the sequence of play is more structured.

The logistics phase
Setting air orders - can be fully automated
Execute air orders
Land moves/combat etc

Some map modes do not allow to move units (ex. battle display in WITE (F11)). As pointed out before, air planning doesn't let you move units (most probable explanation), thus you have to execute air orders and proceed to ground movement phase.
