the thing is i did look at all files and they are all there, major-01 has your sprites in it, but they do not show ingame.
By the way my game is in version 1.01 , is this the proper version?

i worked around it by simple pasting the files into the game folders, so its now a permanent change for all scenarios, hope this doesnt screw anything else up, but i doubt i ever want to go back to the original counters anyways.
I now remember i had the exact same issue with the WiE game a few month ago and did the same thing.
So its all good for now, and thank you for the awesome sprites

This mod is great, very good work

It should be the original icons of the game

I'm having same problem too with UK units, even though I pasted the bitmaps into ALL of the campaigns. It's only UK that is wonky---all other CW counters show the Sipres modded icons.

Hi Happycat

I believe its a game engine problem, I did experience the same problem also with WIE 1.16 beta
When you open the campaign with editor did you see the modded counters for UK?
As a temporary solution just copy the Major01 (UK) bitmap units to the core program folder (backup the original first), it must work...

I think Bill/Hubert are aware about this issue and will fix in next WAW update

I believe you are right Sipres---after I posted my last message, I found another directory for SC that probably is the core folder, copied the files over and all is now good.

Awesome looking counters---I especially like the little bombs on the tactical vs medium bomber icons, makes differentiating easier. Give yourself a pat on the back from me. These take me back to the 80's board games such as WIF, Europa etc.

I'm having the same problem with my Naval mod. No matter what I do the markers in the Major-01 folder will not show up in the game. It's a major problem for my mod.

I'm having the same problem with my Naval mod. No matter what I do the markers in the Major-01 folder will not show up in the game. It's a major problem for my mod.

I installed my game through Steam, so my setup may not be the same as yours. When I go to SteamApps folder I see a subfolder called Bitmaps plus two others for SC WAW and SC WIE. Once I placed the modded bitmaps in all three locations it worked.

Notably, I did NOT go through the editor for any aspect of doing this, and it worked out just fine.

Hopefully someone with a lot more knowledge in this area will chime in and help :)

Thanks for the reply Happycat,

I'm glad your copy is working properly and I hope I'm the only one with this problem.

My SC WAW is through Steam and the bitmaps are fine in the editor and in NetPaint but no the game.

Thank you very much for your good-looking counters and I really love them! I was wondering if you would consider changing the color of Soviet counters to red, as you did in WIE, I feel that the current color is not very distinguishable from some other countries (such as Japan and Britain).

I downloaded the file. I put the bitmaps file in the game and the game did not work. I had to put the originals back in.

In WAW, using the latest patch that includes your mod, Germany counters have a grey squared shadow, even before I move them. The rest of countries do not have it. Is there any reason or way to address this? thank you.
