Naval units won't move into expanded map?

The sequel of the legendary wargame with a complete graphics and interface overhaul, major new gameplay and design features such as full naval combat modelling, improved supply handling, numerous increases to scenario parameters to better support large scenarios, and integrated PBEM++.

Naval units won't move into expanded map?

As some of you know, I'm expanding one of the existing scenarios. My problem is that I increased the map margin and added deep water terrain, but the naval units will not move into them. Land units will move into expanded/new land terrain, so this problem only applies to new water hexes. How can I fix this?

Defining this problem further, naval units will not move into deep water hexes that were converted from land terrain...

Ok. For this part of the problem The deep water hexes still have land features mixed in with it (like mountains, etc.). If I remove these land features from the water hexes I believe I should be able to move into them...

But my first top issue still remains.

... when I moved a Soviet unit from the north, it cannot move any further south. There is some kind of barrier here???

OK. I think the problem is caused by an Event through the Event Editor. Hostilities had not yet begun and those impassible hexes had "Cease-fire" labels in the terrain description. Once war began naval unit could pass this barrier. [8|]

One way to fix that would be to remove the deep water hex, change ownership of the hexes in the deployment editor & then re-add the deep water hexes.
