Isolated Reorganization Limits is working. I have had several isolated units correctly not reorganize at the end of the turn.

Did you have any units that don't require oil not reorganize?

Turn 6. May/June 1940. The Western Front. Blitzkrieg.

Axis #7. The weather clears and turns fine on the Western Front, and everywhere else except for rain in the North Monsoon (i.e., Southern China). Stalled by storms last impulse, of which high level OKW staff members have been critical, combat operations against the French and British have resumed. There are three designated combat.

Land Combat #1.
The first of three designated land combats is designed to break into France from the Ardness and the bridgehead established over the Maas. The target hex is hex [55,32] and is southeast of the Maas bridgehead. The combat starts with a ground strike from a Luftwaffe Stuka air flotilla that disorganizes 2 corps of the three defending units, adding +4 to the upcoming Blitz attack. The blitz land combat destroys or shatters an entire French army (2 corps + division) and the Germans push into France proper. Note that the Luftwaffe ground strike was opposed by German fighters were able to run away the intercepting French fighters, which allowed the German Stukas to fly on to their target. Also, a French 105 artillery division in an adjacent hex provided defensive ground support to the defending French units.

Turn 6. May/June 1940. The Western Front. Blitzkrieg.

Axis #7. Land Combat #2.
The second designated land combat was against the southern French army in Belgium (hex [53,31]), which is 1 of 3, that moved there. A ground strike by a 150-mm artillery division proved ineffective. In direct attack again these 8 defending factors this division would have guaranteed +1, however, the Wehrmacht in using the division to ground strike was betting this guaranteed +1 on the 48% chance of getting +2 (i.e., one disorganized) or the 16% chance of getting a +2 (i.e., both disorganized). The expected modified average of the ground strike was +1.6, although which did have a 36% of providing 0, versus the +1 guaranteed. In this case, the gamble didn't payoff for the Germans, but long term it would have and barring special circumstances is a bet that the Germans will take every time.

During movement the Wehrmacht was unable to get a mot division in place to absorb a blitz loss in the 12 to 13% chance that a loss was required. This meant that the Germans would have to lose a full mot corps in this case. Given that the artillery ground strike failed, OKW was able to convince OKH that a change of land combat hex from [53,31] to [52,31] (center French army in Belgium) was prudent because a mot division could be committed to that blitz. In the end, the Wehrmacht rolls well (enough) to destroy a second French army without taking any losses or having any disorganization of their own.

Turn 6. May/June 1940. The Western Front. Blitzkrieg.

Axis #7. Land Combat #3.
The third designated land combat was an all out assault to on the Strasbourg Maginot line hex. Even throwing 8 corps and 3 division against the single French IX Garr corps holds the fort, the Wehrmacht could only muster +4 on the assault table. Still, given that only a single corps was holding the hex, this gave the Germans a 64% (almost 2/3) chance of taking Strasbourg. This was not to be. These attackers rolled poorly, the attack fails, and the French IX Garr holds.

Turn 6. May/June 1940. The Western Front. Blitzkrieg.

Axis #7. The Western Front.
OKH estimates that there's a 72% chance that the Germans will get another impulse this turn. Furthermore their weather forecasters estimate that if they do get another impulse there's an 80% chance that the fine weather will continue. So, there's a 57.6% chance that the Germans will get another sorely needed fine-weather impulse this turn. Even if it isn't fine, the Germans will push with everything they can in the 72% chance they do get another impulse.

Turn 6. May/June 1940. The Western Front.

Allied #8.

The French pull their two surviving armies out of Belgium and back into France. They also rearrange their defense line to give them full, or as full as they can get, defense in depth with armies of 2 corps, or 2 corps and a division, holding front line positions opposite the Germans.

Wouldn't you know it. The Germans didn't get another impulse with the turn ending during the allied impulse on a roll of 1 versus 20% chance of ending. And, to rub salt into their wound, the allies won the initiative for the next turn. Though, the axis could have requested a re-roll, they decided that it was in their best long-term interest not to and take the hit on the initiative bonus track, which they currently have a +1.

Turn 7. July/August 1940. The Western Front. Allied #1.

Turn 6. May/June 1940. The Western Med. Southern France. Algeria.

Allied #8.
The French call the Italian's bluff, or threat, of invasion against Algeria in the West Med. Instead of disembarking the French XIII inf corps from Syria into Algiers to guard against a possible Italian surprise invasion, the French instead disembark the corps into Marseilles for deployment to central France and the fight against the Nazi invaders.

Turn 6. May/June 1940. End of Turn. Partisans.

There were five places were partisans were possible. Of those, the only place close to getting any was India with a partisan roll of a 7 followed by an 8. But in the end, no additional partisans anywhere were spawned.

your right. I didn't realize it was only units that required oil that didn't reorganize when isolated

Turn 6. May/June 1940. End of Turn. US Entry.

A 2-value chit was drawn and added to the German/Italy entry pool.

The US choose option 6, which to intern the French CV Bern. They also choose to convert that carrier to a transport. The US had to move a 1-value chit in the Japanese entry pool to their tension pool.

Note. During the turn, the CV Bern was moved to the 0-box of the West Med and their CVP was rebased to Marseilles. Thus, the French didn't lose that CVP when the Bern was interned by the US. And, during the return planes to reserve phase coming up at the beginning of next turn, the French will do exactly that which will give them an extra pilot for the turn after that.

Humming along nicely ... just don't want to touch anything I don't have to for fear it'll be like a house of cards and come tumbling down.

Turn 6. May/June 1940. End of Turn. Chinese Production.

Anemic at best ...

Japanese strategic bombing which hasn't been that effective was able to reduce Chinese production by 1 PP. Lord forbid when their strategic bombing is effective. And given that Japanese strategic bombing of Chinese factories has been given a high priority by their army and navy, it won't let up in the foreseeable future.
