Halberdier more power to ya if you can get a 3d project going.
I am just a player in my case though, I don't have much inside knowledge of what was done to generate the actual images we see.
But there is this I know, even after all these years, and we still encounter people that have never even seen Steel Panthers.
Just last week I mailed out yet another one of my Ultra Steel Panthers cds (I am able to burn to cd all that is commonly available for download to those that don't enjoy the service of a high speed connection).
I have yet another waiting to be shipped out, and I plan to add a copy of my cd to a friend that bought an old copy of one of my other wargames.
The game is alive and well which is cool after all these years.
A good game is after all a good game
But it would take a major undertaking to render all that is out there into 3d and then convince everyone they needed it.
And when you consider that Matrix Games will not to long be arketing Combat Leader, it seems like a bridge too far prospect to do something as radical as recreate Steel Panthers in 3d.
I can't speak from an absolute certainty, but I am not sure if the program can even handle a 3d image.
