Edit unintended consequences

Post by Steely Glint »

I used the editor on the 1942 scenario to correct a couple of unit strengths and after saving it the teleport squares (e.g., East Pacific to Central Pacific) no longer work. What did I do wrong?

I haven't had a good chance to look just yet but there might actually be an issue with the loops in general and thus the possibility you haven't done anything wrong. To confirm, could you try them in the default game as well to see if they work for you?

Just doublechecked. The teleports work fine in the unedited version. It’s something I did wrong.

Can you check the events and ensure that they have compiled? For example, go to Campaign-> Edit Event Scripts in the Editor and try recompiling all events to see if this helps.

That did it! Thank you, Hubert. Your support of your customers, as always, is excellent.
