Silent Service

Post by m10bob »

I the early days of television after WW2, a U.S. network produced a great series called SILENT SERVICE which told true stories of individual U.S. submarine missions in the Pacific, starring the actual skipper of those pigboats.
Youtube has the entire series which is very enlightening for folks who might have an interest but were not around to see the series when it first aired.

A great show. It's quite fun seeing future Star Trek actors in certain episodes.

The obvious question is - "Will each shell do at least 0ne Million Dollars worth of damage?" If not, someone needs to look at this again and rethink it.
