Historical MOD: Fleet Factors

Post by Daniel Amieiro »

Well, another thread for fleets numbers.

I have taking numbers from...
https://threedecks.org/index.php?displa ... ips_search

and other sources.

Country HF LF

GB 116 74
SPA 52 18
FRA 51 16
Russia 31 12
Ottoman 9 4
Denmark 20 11
Holland 16 4
Portugal 15 16
Sweden 13 6
Sicily 2 5

HF: All 1-2-3-4 rank ships that are operative (not hulls, prison hulls, receiving ships, troops, etc) (about 74-80 cannon ships mostly, 1st rank over 100). If hulls, UK numbers should be doubled... :D

LF: All 5-6 rank ships Halved (a 5-6 rank ship is 20-30 cannon, so 1 take 1 factor for each two ships.)

Not making ponderations (it's not the same a 1st class ship than a 3rd). It would give more number to bigger countries...

Are these numbers ok?.

In OOB i would think about making 20HF/10LS chits for heavy fleets (able to carry 25 factors). Not sure if make only 10LS chits for light fleets.
