Recreatable CTD

Post by alwaysdime »

I have been able to recreate a CTD several times just now.

1) Start Attu Island 43 as Allies vs computer Japan

2) Select the CA Wichata at 42,15

3) Move the unit as far as possible dirrectly NW

4) Your movement will stop and take damage

5) Click on the Combat Chart

BOOM - Crash to desktop occurs. If you just click Play/Exit you will be fine. I did this about 6 times on 4.1.0.21

I don't know if the bug is just this scenario, any movement resulting in damage, or just naval units taking dame and viewing the chart but in any case your QA team should get a good half dozens new test cases to try.

Actually I should have opened this under the Tech forum. Could a mod move this there?

I just tried this with Version 4.1.0.23 and got a CTD as well. I'll report this to the beta team.

Doesn't seem to matter what ship you use.

Found it, thanks. It wasn't expecting (US) in any of the names.
