I have 3 plus one started over the weekend. My peak was 7 at the same time.

Two current, two starting.
Put my faith in the people
And the people let me down.
So, I turned the other way,

One. Quite honestly, I can't seem to get a turn done in less than an hour (writing the AAR portion takes about 15 - 20 minutes per entry) now that we're into Sep/Oct 42. Hats off to all of you multi-game players, better than I can manage :)

Agreed Condor - fellow Allied Commander - I find the AAR takes more time than the actual turn. I have what i want to do mapped out in my head for a few turns in advance - also the AAR helps here. So the nitty gritty of a turn can be accomplished more rapidly.

I only have 2 games on the go. Maybe should start another.

Four at the moment.

Losing one as Japan (Scenario #17) and one as the allies (Scenario #19).

Drawing or at least not losing in two others (one #17 and one #19) but as I am the allies in those I am hoping to convert them both to wins :)

PBM Games

Post by mapr »

4 pbm games currently, but in one of those friend of mine have stopped sending turns briefly after Lexingon and Yorktown met the bottom of the ocean in the middle of the Pacific and he doesn't anymore reply any mails/questions concerning UV :)

Didn't expect much else, have happened before.

2 cmbb, about six in spwaw, 2 acow, 2 spmbt, 2 sp2ww2, 2 cmbo, 1 K42, 2 spwaw mega-camp but none in UV...
It's hard to find opponents when I can't garantee one or more turns a day because of the many other non-UV games going.

1 game as Allied in Scen 19 at Turn 139. It takes me too long as it is to do one turn a day. And my wife has already learned to hate UV. :)

Probably try to start one in Korsun Pocket soon. It'll give her something else to hate.

Other than that I fly IL2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles online (in a squadron) and play the occasional game of Ghost Recon (online and campaign). Leaving precious little time to take on additional games, at least until WiTP comes along.

He does use that file in his AAR Thread, but he also writes a narrative in addition to it including insights and strategy as well.

Here's his AAR Thread:

Return to the Valley of the Sun: Condor (USN) vs. Quark (IJN)

Here's one with a bit less narrative:

Mogami/DadMan, Scenario 19 (Again, With Feeling)

I have five in rotation at the moment, two suspended for some reason, and I'm debating whether or not to hurt myself with a rematch to make it an even six...
