How to Install Mod's on Steam game?

How you install Mods on Steam. What is the process?

Same as non steam basically.

Automatic updates might mess up your install, but you can either switch those off, or run a file verification.

I use JSGME for most of my mods.
Takes care of the mod files, easy stack or switch mods and easy to reverse mods.
Instead of manually replacing files, just replicate the directory structure and place the files in the JSGME MOD directory.

Just google JSGME plenty of choice, som Matrix games even have it preinstalled.

Place a copy of the EXE file in your target game directory and it will create a MODS directory for you - place your mods there.
Some mods are JSGME readty, some you have to built up yourself by creating the directory structure.

You can find help online - but if you understand directories it is childsplay.
