US may want AI as much or maybe more than China does, especially for potential military applications. Is CMANO ready for better and deadlier AI?

A couple of operational tidbits in this one on F-35s at Red Flag 19-1:

"when they have expended all their ordnance, Lightning II pilots can support the rest of the team by collecting live battlefield data and passing it to older 4th generation fighters via Link-16."

Pretty cool concept / idea: A naval VSHORAD solution... in a container... can be fitted aboard supply ships.... but aboard landing craft as well if you think about it

MBDA unveils the SPIMM Self-Protection Integrated Mistral Module
Image
At NAVDEX 2019, MBDA unveiled the SPIMM (Self-Protection Integrated Mistral Module), an all-in-one air defence module based on the SIMBAD-RC system and designed to equip ships of all types, particularly those without a combat system (such as supply ships).

The SPIMM module consists of a SIMBAD-RC automated naval turret equipped with two ready-to-fire Mistral missiles and a 360° infrared panoramic system to detect and track air and surface threats. The system is entirely controlled by two operators located in a shelter inside the module, which is also used to store four additional missiles. This ISO standard “all-in-one” module, 10 feet long and weighing some 7 tons, can be easily positioned on the deck of a ship using a crane, and requires just a standard electrical connection.

Two questions:

1, When is the storm occurred, the one that happens in 2017 or later?
2, When S-400 claimed to has 600km of detection and attack ranges?

Also the title seems misleading, if all S-400 never got to China, then how’s the news about 48N6E tests occurred in 2018? I think it’s just refer to 40N6(E) that happens to be a part of the shipment got destroyed, and Russia isn’t officially using it 2 years ago?

40N6 is still a fable, and I doubt Russia would let China have it before themselves.

EDIT: China.com journalist has recently reported that China never have purchase 40N6E, and the damaged shipment is happened in Jan 2018, until April Russia was resent another batch and tested 48N6E3 later on.

Finland and USA just had an exercise called Distant Frontier in Alaska between themselves, separate from the Red Flag, so this comes as no big surprise, Finland has also been cleared for JASSM previously

If image sats are helping military to see stealth fighters, then it’s not stealthy anymore. Is it sounds like we need a whole new definition of “stealthiness”?
