Japan totally destroyed Sitkin, and right now the emphasis is establishing these bases and a perimeter for the destruction of Adak, and their 45,000 American troops.
Weather forecast is quite pleasant, don't you think?

They moderated our forecast to 12 to 18 inches the next 36 hours. I'll take that over an Aleutians blizzard!Weather forecast is quite pleasant, don't you think?

Almost ready to attack Chungking...it has been pummeled for quite a while now. I do plan on closing off all retreat routes, but have some time yet to do so.
The mountain push to Paoshan is going quite nicely.

Japanese Bombardment attack
Attacking force 7248 troops, 551 guns, 349 vehicles, Assault Value = 3232
Defending force 269952 troops, 473 guns, 0 vehicles, Assault Value = 5692
Allied ground losses:
1358 casualties reported
Squads: 37 destroyed, 29 disabled
Non Combat: 10 destroyed, 2 disabled
Engineers: 1 destroyed, 0 disabled
Guns lost 9 (8 destroyed, 1 disabled)

Don't start the Ada invasion too late; winter is almost upon you.

RE: Lowpe (Japan) vs Wargamr (Allies)
Winter is upon him, isn't it? Cold zone effects begin November 1 (as I recently learned to my surprise for the 18th time, as I for some reason always and incorrectly think they begin in December).

Yes, winter is here.

So far doing good work bouncing between shipyard and pier to eliminate the engine damage.
Japan gets a CVL, CVE, CLAA x2, and the Musashi in one week or less.
The CVE's will join two others and steam for Singers, perhaps they might get to Ceylon in time. Have to be real careful with them, as they pretty much normally are just victory points for the Allies.

RE: Lowpe (Japan) vs Wargamr (Allies)
I have no real plans on escalating the speed of the invasion of Adak, it is bait to hopefully get the Allies to push their ships forward. Or even just tie up his fleet here.
Isolate and reduce. I have some hefty air cap from only 1 hex away to catch transports, and soon more from two hexes.
I would really like to have at least one super BB here before seeking to engage the Allied fleets again, although I am toying with plans to sneak the KB into CV clash on my terms. I have tried a few times and failed.
My best guess is that at least one month will pass before any actual invasion on Adak occurs.

Finished off the turn, and realized I accidentally had a CL at Ceylon with upgrades enabled...ruhoh, stuck in port for 20 days now. My OCD didn't kick in for that one.[;)]

Last 30 or so days of American ship losses...
surely some of these is wishful thinking, but it does look nice.

RE: Lowpe (Japan) vs Wargamr (Allies)
Impressive what were your losses during the same period?
RE: Lowpe (Japan) vs Wargamr (Allies)
Japan lost the Yamashiro, two training cruisers, one CL, and five destroyers. Assorted small ships, one 3k AKE.
RE: Lowpe (Japan) vs Wargamr (Allies)
I guess the Eta Jima Cadets will have to find different summer cruise ships with your losses.
