Greetings Fellow Commanders

Here is the update for my Mod, Alternate History-Silver Wings II;
Despite I never get any feedback regarding playbility, bugs found or anything IN GAME, I decided to keep working on improvments and hunting for bugs with a very dedicated close friend;

The mod was tunned and we believe the balance is fair enough for both sides;

- New art plane/ships added;
- New Video intro to reflect the mod concept added;
- Revised OOBs;

Any content of this mod can be used by the community freely;
Players can face the AI but there is no script for it;

Tested. The air war is very nice but althoug I understand the 1941 is 1954, there is a lot of thing which must be updated to the new start date to "make sense" the mod.

The idea is amazing. Keep on it!! [;)]

Thanks for the feedback and glad u liked; As a matter of fact the time frame is 1949-1955, that said due engine limitations to handle post 1946 pilot's replenishment I was forced to make the corrections for the 41-46 era, which means that 41 OOBs IN FACT depicts 49 OOBs more or less for all nations involved;

For those testing the mod here is the top and alfa update for the B-45 and RB-45 Tornado;
Extract the contento into the ART folder/ AliedPlanes sub folder and replace the old files;

Ok, but OOB must be modernized to make real it's 1949, ie: inf squad 49, no IFV, more M-24, M47....

Regarding the nomenclature yes I completely agree with you as they indeed appeared in that fashion at the ver 1.0 of the mod; updated and will be uploaded;
For the IFVs, I rechecked all the TO&E and didnt find any..only APCs are present; if you could point any IFVs with slot number it would be very appreciated;

- M-24s are the bulk of US light tank Bn and french tank units till "1952" for the first as described by most of sources I was able to find on the net, mainly "The Armor Debacle in Korea, 1950:Implications for Today"

For the frenchs they were the mainstay during the Indochina war;

-M-47/48 only replaced the Pershings by 1953 in RL with limited numbers of the M-46 serving at Korea so I decided to just place the M-48 as MBT for US armored units instead deploying M-46s than M-47 than M-48s;

But unfortunately not in a manner that could work in game so it is there more like regular sub than as an "attack"sub

Have you thought about making Regulus a DEVICE Type 18 NAVAL GUN?

Give it a range of 300 KYards (170 miles)
Set accuracy to about 50-60

Submarines would still be able to use it (witness the Balao 'gunboat' with twin 5/25s for surface actions), albeit only surfaced; and you could use it on other ships like USN cruisers and carriers (10 CV were configured to launch them)

Yes Sir! that was precisely what I did;
The Regulus is indeed a device , slot 1787 as a naval gun;
I gave it the range of 575 miles and accuracy of 59;
But all the tests I made I never was able to hit ground targets and as far as I know it was designed for that purpose;
