WaW Screams out for Team playing!

Post by James Taylor »

Come on Hubert, the diversified strategies that exist in WaW and the multiple Major countries allows
for a platform that supports multi-players per side.

This is my second play through, once as Allies, this new one as Axis, and once we get into 1942 there
is more than enough to keep two players on each side busy and interested.

I've been wanting to get multiple PBEM games going, but currently its taking almost an hour to perform
a turn(from 1942 on) and that's without an interruption. Besides, as a team, there is more incentive
to keep things going late in the game and provides motivation to tackle some of the later campaigns
that Bill has designed.

Is there something up with the server that prevents team playing?

It is not a PBEM++ server issue, the game has just been designed from the ground up to be only a 2 player game and to change that unfortunately requires quite a bit of an overhaul to the game engine on my end. It is something we are looking into making an option for future games though as we agree, it would be a great feature to have.

Thanks for the reply Hubert. I believe that this will launch SC into a new phase just like the institution of the editor way back in 2003 or 2002, whatever it was.[:'(]

The "Team Spirit" (ala Nirvana) will bring about a vast popularity for future renditions as the platform has progressed to such a point that any additional complications need to be managed by two heads instead of one.[:D]

You know I wouldn't steer you wrong![8D]
