Where one can see all events and triggers?

Post by AlbertN »

Greetings,

As the topic says, where one can see all the decisions and events, just to know what will happen a bit ahead and plan around?
Like - if to invest in diplomatic actions for Hungary / Romania as Germany, or in Thailand as Japan, if later on they'll get an event to align to Axis naturally (and which are the requirements).

Thanks in advance

In the files for each scenario there are Scripts/Events folders - they're quite detailed reading.
Don't invest in Romania, Hungry or Bulgaria - they join Axis on their own. There's an event for Indochina in '41 for them to join. Thailand I've always invaded but it's easy as Thais have no troops.

There is also a strategy guide for each campaign that may be helpful. These can be found in the Manuals folder for the game, and some are directly accessible from the game launcher itself or within the game as well.

I've read the strategy guide but it's something that is for strategy beginners in general by what I've deducted.
I'd rather have a precise walkthrough of how to conquer Poland efficiently with explaination step by step (through specific mechanics of -this- game) than to have a grand general essay that tells me Germany needs air and land units but should do some sub war as sideshow and that can choose between SeaLion or Barbarossa!

I'm not sure but I would guess one of those YouTube videos is what you want.

Come on man, the fun is to figure it out. Eventually, a cookie cutter strategy will be figured out as a stock strategy. But, in this case, I'm seeing multiple openings due to the cool Naval and large map. Far as Poland, you'll get it in 2-turns, even if you suck. The question is, do you want to Operand to France (high cost), send the Panzers over early, send the Air quickly over. Problem, if you attack Low Countries and try a pincher move thru Luxemburg fast, which can be done, you won't have time to upgrade. The weather will slow you.

There is a Tutorial chapter in the Manual too, which gives advice on the early stages of the war, and the Strategy Guides do list all the campaign's Decisions so they are definitely worth looking at.
