Turn 19 - 24th May 1940

The British get reinforcements in the form of a DD and a fighter unit. Two Indian Garrisons also arrive.

The French get a tank unit.

The US get to Logistics Level 1.

I really want to save with the Chinese so that I can buy an Army for the southern area. However I have to ensure that all units are at full strength to meet the Japanese challenge.

I bring back the Chinese fighters, now re-built, and place them in Chungking where hopefully they can provide some level of cover for both the cities under threat.

After reinforcement I have 168MPP left. If I can get a relatively quiet turn next, I may be in a position to buy an Army.

One thing I am considering is attacking the Japanese 3rd Army, which is in contact with two of my armies and two corps south of Chengchow. I decide to hold off until I get my next advance in Infantry Weapons (66% toward the total) as one bad defeat could open the door to the Japanese.

Once again I press the wrong button (switching between screens is deadly if you forget that you've highlighted a unit already) and 'attack' with XII Corps [8|]. I was right not to risk attacking with the Chinese as XII Corps receives a bloody nose and inflicts no loss on the enemy....

Post this picture XII Corps loses two points after the accidental attack. It moves away and CXXX Corps in IChang moves north to cover - leaving the city unguarded.
