Unable to save OOB or map

I'm currently working on a scenario, and always save at least 2-3 times an hour. I have been working on the OOB since 4:14pm today and now its 5:20pm. I closed the game and came back to it, reopened the scenario and all the work I have done with the OOB and the scenario are gone. It did not save.

So I tried saving the OOB and then open it, nothing. Tried saving the map, then opening it, nothing again. Saved the scenario and the time stamp still shows 4:14pm. I have upgraded to the latest patch. This is not acceptable when we as customers pay for something with our money. Needless to say I'm not putting another ounce of time into this until this issue is fixed.

Try saving it again, and, this time, look carefully for the folder it is being saved in (the whole path!). It's probably not going where you think it is.

I checked, and it's going into the correct folder, Mideast folder. The Auto save was in the saved file in my documents/operational art of war IV saved folder. I copied this into the mideast folder and opened it, then saved it.

I still lost the OOB that I had worked 2 hrs on though. I am able to save the scenario now, but I still cannot save the OOB, or a unit. They are no where to be found. Now I can save the map as a XML file and open it that way after saving it, but if I try and save it the original way, still not able to.

Again, you must examine the ENTIRE PATH!

Save unit as and Open unit have been reported broken since 2 November last year. I'm not surprised to see Save OOB is broken also. And it is broken. I can't get it to work either. [:@]

Is it possible to perform the required changes
using a previous version of the game engine....
in other words, has this kind of event ever
been performed before (, and therefore it
broke recently ).

The scenario file contains the OOB and the map. Do I understand you that, now, when you save the scenario, the date correctly updates?

If I recall that is no longer supported. I don't remember for sure.
