Mr Markiss is being facetious. Just go to PBEM and start an open challenge (with standard parameters) if you cant find a newer opponent. Generally you should be prepared to play 1-2 turns a day or at least 4-6 a week IMO.

Many veterans are leery of people who say they are new because many experienced players just get a new name and claim to be new.
