Editing equipment on-the-fly possible?

Post by BigDuke66 »

Hi
I wanted to correct the range of an artillery piece in a running scenario and had hoped that this would simply work by editing the eqp file but that didn't had any effect, even making the changes in the editor and saving the eqp file didn't show the wanted result, only saving the scenario itself showed my changes in the scenario.
Is this the only way to do so?
The problem here is that it has no effect on a running scenario and changes only take effect if the scenario is restarted.

Correct. Can you imagine the cheat possibilities if the equipment could be edited in a running scenario!

I wanted to correct the range of an artillery piece in a running scenario
Do you mean make it longer yet? Because you can use the range button on the unit display
to make it shorter.

Indeed, it needed to be longer.
