Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

logistics report

Post by tonyscrase »

In the rules it states that the following is in the logistics report
seems to be a very useful report comparing freight received and freight required
26.3.13.1. Freight Section
The freight section has two parts with information as follows (Note that this information is just for the logistics phase, so does not count what is being sent during the air phase or during the move phase):
Army Freight Data:
Replace req: Replacements required in tons of freight
Sup Need: All types of supplies needed in tons of freight
Received: Tons of freight received for replacements and all types of supplies
Lost: Tons of freight lost en route to units

however the columns in the logistics report are
sup need, sup rec, sup lost, Repfr rec, repmn rec repfr lost
I think the first free columns are simple enough but what does "Repfr rec" mean (i am guessing freight to be turned into replacements. Also what does "repmn rec" mean

Thank You

Freight received in replacements, and number of replacement men received.

Still a very useful report but would be better if it showed the required replacement freight to give a full overview of freight at army level as in rule 26.3.13.1. Freight Section
