Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Wow, that's asking a lot! The 2x3 team keeps updating the game every week or two, fixing bugs and sometimes adding features.

Here are some notable:

1. No reduction in effectiveness if air groups aren't based in their own air HQ's air bases
2. Fixed ACV attrition so your armored divisions don't go down to 60% TOE just by driving through clear, friendly hexes to get to the front line (my favorite)
3. Night intruder air superiority missions (may have been around three years ago, not sure)
4. Updates/corrections to lots of planes and equipment

But the best thing to do is check the Readme and/or "Living Manual" for a very complete list.
